Hello everyone!

This time I will talk about one of my best holidays:  Concepción 2019.

Me and my family decided to visit great – aunt Senfia during winter holidays.  She lives a few blocks from Universidad del Bío Bío, so she set up a student residence, we stayed there.

The first place that we visited was Lota. We started with a tour of the mine El Chiflón del Diablo, it is a very warm and wet place, the tunnel was getting narrower, in one section we had to crawl. There was a park around the mine, I stayed near the mine taking photos of the machines while my family toured a kind of little town.

 



 

After that, we went to Parque Isidora Cousiño. It is a very beautiful place, there are a lot of things to see. For example, there are peacocks at the start of the park, then there is a large house and a greenhouse. My favorite locations are the viewpoint where you can see the town, the port and the sea; and the forest.

 

 


 


 

 

 

We returned to great – aunt Senfia´s house at night. She had prepared an abundant dinner. We ate and talked a lot.

Another place that I want to talk about is Cerro Caracol.     Concepcion is a nice city, it has a lot of history and i love the view of the Bio Bio river

    Oh my god, I loved the last picture from Cerro Caracol, it's very beautiful!!!
    My grandfather lives in Concepción so when I was a child I used to go on summer vacations and I wanted to live in there jajs is a really nice city. I too went to Lota and visited the Parque Isidora Cousiño, it's so beautiful and big!! How cool that you had been to the mine! I think It's very scary because it's underwater...

  Hello everyone! Finally, I will share with you my experience writing blogs and learning English at university. Before to course this subject, I had many doubts Will I be able to speak English in class? Will I be able to understand the instructions?   Also, I was afraid of having a very low level of English in relation to my classmates. However, after the first class I noticed that it was not so terrible, I understand what the teacher said and I could introduce myself. The blogs have been a great opportunity to learn more vocabulary about different topics like movies, travels, our careers, etc. At the beginning, I took a long time to write each post, but with the passage of the weeks, I gained more confidence and it took me less time.   A good advice to practice is to write a diary, for example, you can talk about what you do in the day, the books you read or the TV series you watched.   Hello everyone! The topic of this week is my favourite movie. I like to watch movies but I have not seen many. My favourite genre is fantasy, I love to see a different world building, original settings and clothing. An example of this type of movies are Harry Potter series, however, I had to admit that I prefer the books.     My least favourite genre is horror. I can’t watch horror movies because it scared me so much. When I was a child me and my cousins saw Mama , I got traumatized. The movie was about two sisters who lived a long time in a forest raised by a ghost. Years later, the girls were living with their uncles. The ghost never left them because, in life, she was a woman who scaped from a sanatorium to recover her daughter, but both died in the attempt.   Hello everyone! Today I will talk about Postgraduate Studies. Masters and doctorates are great opportunities to learn and improve in an area of your career.   Also, if you have postgraduate studies, you will have more chances to get a job. In my school days, I wanted to study Arts, take a restoration course and do a Master in Museology. In the first year of the career, I realized that restoration and museology are areas that require a lot of responsibility and I don’t feel able to follow that path.      In the other hand, I have been working on a mentoring program during this year. It’s been a good experience, I love sharing information, resolve doubts and talk with other students. For this reason, I want to do the Master in Visual Arts, with that degree, you are able to be a teacher in our university.      If I did other masters or a doctorate, I would like to study in another country or, alternatively, with distance learning.
